A thanksgiving toast.

May the creatures bred of habit,
And those so wildly of the wilderness
find the glow of the table's wood--
None harmed,
All stray from the welfare common but undestined.

May the buckle of joy snap, and the warm water rush against the bounty.

May it in that improbable bounty rise to meet you in
The fullest of its mercy, and the flushest of its girth.
